The Comunitat Valenciana is host to The World Orchestra

The Netherlands (Scheveningen), where the orchestra was born, Canada (Mount Orford) and Germany (Berlin), have been hosts to the JMWO in the past. The Comunitat Valenciana (Spain) is now the new residency of the orchestra.

The headquarters and main sponsor is la Fundación Palau de les Arts in Valencia at la Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències.This building was designed by architect Santiago Calatrava.

The World Orchestra has instaled its office at the Institut Valencià de la Música building.

The orchestra meets twice a year in Valencia, with two rehearsal periods and a series of symphony concerts scheduled in several different concert halls in the region before the world tours proper begin.

It is an honour for a project that is at once veteran and innovative, such as The World Orchestra, which is committed to develop musical education and global solidarity and celebrate youth, to be able to contribute towards the international image of Valencia, its magnificent scientific and cultural project.
