“Dance for Peace” Summer Tour
The World Orchestra started the tour in July 19th , to show its artistic project to China. The cities the orchestra visited in this first tour called Dance for Peace were Beijing, Tianjin, Nanjin, Hangzhou, Wenzhou, Fuzhou, Shantou, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Zhuhai.

The nine concerts WOJM made in Chinese territory were very successful. The audience in the concert halls were young and noise people, looking forward to discovering the energy a symphonic concert can transmit.

Communication between orchestra and public were so fluid that the audience, quite cold in the beginning, showed an amazing enthusiasm at the end of each concert. Shouting the maestro Josep Vicent when he tried to leave the platform or clapping while WOJM was playing Good News from Beijing are some examples of the complicity the orchestra got with Chinese audience.

But Dance for Peace tour also included some concerts in Spain and recordings for RTVE, RTVV, RNE, and the EBO, all this under its present chef conductor, maestro Josep Vicent.
